Every year, our office holds a raffle during the 12 days before Christmas. The items that are raffled off are the gifts that some of the customers donate to us. Last year, the biggest prize was a Blackberry. This year was a better year. Some of the items to be raffled off included an ipod, a mini laptop, a Brasilia Espresso Machine and a $100 gift certificate. I had my hopes up of winning the ipod since mine got stolen a month ago and I haven’t replaced it yet. Since there were only 33 employees in our office my chances of winning were good enough. The day came when the ipod was raffled off and I didn’t win, but two days later I won the laptop which was even better. I cannot wait until next Christmas’s raffle.
