The chain link fence at my mother’s house started to rust so I’m unsure what to do. Should I install a whole new fence or is there something else I can do about it? I’m guessing once the fence has started to rust there is no turning back, I don’t know fences so I’m clueless. I see rust proofing coating available but that is to keep the rust from occurring. The worse case scenario is that I will install a new fence which shouldn’t be expensive and should take less time then say a wooden fence. The chain link fence wasn’t meant to last a lifetime either way so it might be time to install a better quality fence.
