One of the reasons I decided to get a divorce lawyer was because my former husband decided to get legal counsel for himself. I had told him that I would not get a lawyer as long as he was upfront with me and didn’t hire a lawyer. I found out about his lawyer when I was served divorce papers. That made me real mad. I should have gotten an attorney earlier. I decided to go ahead and get a good attorney.
